#126 RICHARD LEONARD,
FORMER CAMPAIGN MANAGER FOR GEORGIA GUBERNATORIAL CANDIDATE
LINDA SCHRENKO
GOP Cocksuckers realy hate it when people get told what they are doing. You see, they think people really don't have a right to know what they are up to because if they did, they'd throw them right out of office on their asses.
Take Richard Leonard.
Leonard was the campaign manager for Linda Schrenko, a Georgia dingbat who pled guilty to fraud in 2002 along with a friend, Merle Temple. Stephen Botes, a third co-conspirator, had been convicted of the crime earlier.
When in the courtroom being tried for fraud, the prosecution played a little tape for the jury of Leonard calling up one of the witnesses and trying to get her to testify that she had been paid $590 to participate in a focus group that was never held. Then she supposedly contributed the money to the Schrenko campaign. Leonard immediately pled guilty and agreed to cooperate with the investigation, in other words, rat out as many guys as he could think of.
Leonard got a month in the slammer, a small fine of $25 and 75 hours of scrubbing out garbage trucks, I mean community service.

Even In The Uniform, They're Crooks - #125
#125 LT. COL. BRUCE HOPFENGARDNER
FORMER OFFICER
GOP cocksuckers like to make a big deal out of their military service; like we have to kiss their asses in perpetuity because they served in the Armed Forces.
But they say NOTHING about fellows like Hopfengardner, guys so crooked they have to screw their pants on in the morning. Oh no, THOSE clowns go straight down the Memory Hole.
Hopfengardner was one of those guys who make a big deal out of military service; the sacrifice, the long hours of combat, the constant fear as a companion.
Except here's what Hoppy ACTUALLY did: Two years ago at about this time, he pled guilty to money laundering and wire fraud.
Yeah, money laundering. Just like a common drug dealer. While he was wearing the Uniform, too. Sheesh.
Lt. Col. Hopfengardner worked with two American citizens, Philip H, Bloom and Robert J. Stein, Jr., to create a corrupt bidding process. They even stole $2 million in reconstruction money. Know how we know? Because Bloom and Stein had already pled guilty. In true GOP Cocksucker fashion, they rolled over on Hoppy in the hopes of getting their sentences reduced.
Hoppy's role in the conspiracy was to make recommendations to the Coalition Provisional Authority, which governed Iraq for a year, for reconstruction money. Stein and Bloom would create dummy companies and Stein would see that one of them got the contracts.

Exhibit A - #122
#122 LESTER CRAWFORD
FORMER FOOD AND DRUG ASSOCIATION COMMISSIONER FOR THE DRUNKEN FRAT BOY ADMINISTRATION
Lester could be 'Exhibit A' for the proposition that the Drunken Frat Boy adminstration is full of crooks, cronies, incompetents and all-around jamooks, but that position might have to go to Heckuva Job Brownie. I haven't checked the timeline.
Lester might have been the first of the high-level GOP cocksuckers to admit he'd been a bad boy--and not in The Bathroom Goblin sort of way, either.
Crawford pled guilty to two misdeameanor counts in which he lied to the Department of Justice as to what stocks he owned. Turned out Lester and Mrs. Lester owned stocks in companies regulated by the FDA. Lester got three years of supervised probation, which he will have to pay the cost of and will spend that time trying to figure out who the fuck ratted on him; a $90,000 fine and 50 hours of community service, which usually means scrubbing out garbage trucks with a push broom.
[UPDATE: Crawford's supervised probation will be up next week.]

Golden Oldie - #121
#121 DAVID STOCKMAN
FORMER OMB DIRECTOR IN REAGAN ADMINISTRATION; EX-CHAIRMAN OF EX AUTO PARTS SUPPLIER; FORMER GOP COCKSUCKER CONGRESSMAN FROM MICHIGAN
Here's a Golden Oldie from the administration of the Gipper himself.
Remember David Stockman? He was the Reagan administration's flashpoint man, crafting the first of the obsidian-hearted budgets that GOP cocksuckers would point proudly to as a model of how things needed to be cut in Washington and how their dream of supply-side economics was going to solve everything. Stockman's budget was full of 'harsh truth' and none of that sentimental codswallop that fuels liberals, they said.
Then remember how all that was bullshit? Stockman used two techniques that stage magicians presumably learn at their mama's knees. The first was 'rosy scenario.' This should be familiar to anyone whose read 'Candide' or 'Heidi.' RS involved making impossibly optimistic assumptions about future growth, inflation, interest rates and so on. "Everything would be fine."
The second technique was called 'the magic asterisk.' MA was the use of phony budget cuts in the fine print to make it look like the Reagan administration was cutting the snot out of the deficit, which Dear Dead Ron had vowed to slash. The deficit was $185.3 billion by the end of 1983. That sounds like peanuts today since the Drunken Frat boy has a deficit going that's up to $400 billion or so, but that was a LOT in 1983.
Anyway, if Stockman's budget was on a blackboard it would look like this:
"First, a miracle occurs."
[lots and lots of equations]
"Then ANOTHER miracle occurs."
[more equations]
Balanced Budget
That's it.
Stockman loved to mock legislators, convinced they didn't know as much as he did about the budget, and he was right. But he could have been nice about it. Instead, Stockman ground it in their faces; he made it obvious he really enjoyed it, too. Then came the mistake. He sat down with journalist William Grieder and was horrfied to see, when the article came out, that Greider had penned a portrait of a kid too big for his britches.
Stockman then found he did not have a lot of friends around who would help him out. In fact, they were actually enjoying his discomforture with the same relish Stockman had taken in showing they didn't know as much about the budget as he did. Stockman got the message. He quietly quit OMB.
Fast forward about oh, 25 years. Stockman is 60 and is chairman at an auto parts supplier in Michigan. Stockman gets indicted for: Conspiracy To Commit Securities Fraud, Making False Statements In Annual and Quarterly Reports, Making False Entries In Books And Records, Lying To Auditors, Bank Fraud, Wire Fraud, and Obstruction of An Agency Proceeding.
Stockman. Hiding lies. Boy does THIS ever look familiar. Eight people were charged in this scheme. Four pled guilty.
Stockman quits the auto parts supplier, which promptly falls apart. The latest on the case is that Stockman is going to be standing trial May 4 with three of the executives from the firm after the case has been stalled for 1½ years. Some of them are already whining that the insurance money to cover their legal costs is running out.
[UPDATE: Stockman managed to successfully hold his enemies at bay for so long that they simply quit. He was never tried.]

'It Wasn't My Fault." - #120
#120 ROBERT REGOLA
FORMER PENNSYLVANIA STATE SENATOR FOR THE PENNSYLVANIA 39TH.
GOP Cocksuckers like to portray themselves as law-abiding gun owners who aren't careless with their firearms at all; except when they are.
Behold Robert Regola, ex-state senator for the Pennsylvania 39th.
Regola was a first-time GOP cocksucker looking to run for a second term, but then a 14-year-old kid named Louis Farrell got hold of Regola's 9- millimeter pistol and killed himself with it.
Regola had given the pistol to his son who had showed it to some friends. One of those friends was Farrell, who later used the gun to blow his brains out. The district attorney charged Regola with perjury, reckless endangerment, providing a firearm to a minor and three counts of false swearing.
Regola was acquitted but the pissed-off Farrell family promptly filed a wrongful death lawsuit against him. Regola behaved in true GOP cocksucker fashion, In other words he said: "it wasn't my fault." Seriously, you should see his string of excuses.
First he blamed the DA for prosecuting the case in the first place. Regola blamed the DA because he is a GOP cocksucker and GOP Cocksuckers blame EVERYBODY else for their own fuckups. Anyway, when that didn't wash, he swtiched to an old GOP Cocksucker standby: He blamed the media for reporting it. Surprisingly, the local media wouldn't back down. When that happened, Regola quit.
George Dunbar, the Republican chairman of Westmoreland County, did not try to talk Regola out of it, even though the numbers, well, they didn't look good but were not insurmountable. Dunbar was just glad to see the back of him.
Regola said he regarded Farrell as a son but the Farrell family has basically told him he could shove his fake compassion all the way up his backside with a red-hot poker. The Farrell attorney, Jon Perry, has been rather tart on the matter, saying that Regola's recounting of the facts in the case have been "fanciful" or "inaccurate."
