Sheriff Joe - #366

#366 SHERIFF JOE ARPAIO
MARICOPA COUNTY SHERIFF IN ARIZONA

Sheriff Joe has been in the annals of GOP Cocksuckerdom for some time.

Not only is he violently anti-immigrant but Sheriff Joe really likes that
"America's Toughest Sheriff' moniker. He takes it very seriously, doing a
lot of public stunts like roundups of illegal immigrants that don't
necessarily help catch violent criminals but get his name out there.

Arpaio also looks upon himself as something of THE authority in
Maricopa County and he doesn't like it very much when that gets
gainsaid, like it did late in 2009, when Maricopa County Supervisor Don
Stapley put auditors in Arpaio's office to monitor spending.

Not only did Stapley do that but he cut into Maricopa County Prosecutor Andrew Thomas' habit of wanting outside attorneys to do county work--outside attorneys that were his political backers. Thomas happens to be a fellowtraveler of #366.

Enraged, Arpaio tried humiliating Stapley by first arresting him in a parking garage in 2008 and charging him with over 118 felony and misdemeanor counts, most of them dealing with charges that Stapley did not include required information on his financial-disclosure forms. That case collapsed when it turned out there was no such law. No prosecutor would take the case.

Thomas wouldn't let that stop him, he went to a Washington D.C. power-lawyer couple, Joseph diGenova and Victoria Toensing, who were ubiquitous during the Monica Lewinski Scandal of the late 1990's. The pair cost $295 an hour for out-of-court fees, and $475 an hour for in-court fees. This threat didn't work either, as the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors told Thomas in a letter that it was denying
permission to hire the pair.

Black with fury, Arpaio, who has a reputation for retaliating against people he believes to be his enemies, startled everyone by promptly arresting Stapley AGAIN, this tine in court while he was waiting for the charges from the first case to be dismissed. No outcome on that case has been reported but what HAS been reported is that the FBI is now investigating Arpaio for using his office to conduct vendettas against people who criticize him; more than two dozen complaints, so far. In fact, Stapley's lawyer, Paul Charlton, compared Arpaio's modus operandi to that of an Eastern European dictator who dealt with dissent by have the outspoken shot as a lesson to the others.

Unable to do ANYTHING about the FBI, Arpaio instead focused on Superior Court Judge Gary Donahoe. Donahoe made several rulings that Arpaio simply didn't like and Arpaio and Thomas charged him with bribery. Thomas even admitted that there was no evidence of bribery against Donahoe.

Arpaio announced he would cooperate with a Department of Justice probe into his behavior but he's done that before

Last month, (March 2010) Arpaio withdrew a lawsuit he'd filed against Maricopa County supervisors, county judges, and their lawyers, in which he screamed that all of them conspired to thwart a sheriff's office probe into the construction of a new court tower. Arpaio HATES the tower and has opposed it for years.

#364 STATE REP KEVIN GARN
FORMER MEMBER OF THE UTAH HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES AND HOUSE MAJORITY LEADER

Twenty-five years ago, Garn shared a hot tub while naked with a then-15 year old girl. Garn denied there was any sexual contact but he did pay the girl $150,000 to shut up about the incident.

Garn said he would not be resigning from the Utah house a day after the incident occured and no one in the GOP demanded he quit. But the next day, Garn quit.

The Garn Scandal was the second bodyblow to hit the state GOP since the beginning of 2010. In January, Senate Majority Leader Sheldon Killpack because another of the many drunk drivers on the GOP side as he was arrested for driving under the influence. He resigned a few days later.

Tryin' To Make Our Kids As Dumb As He Is - #364

#364 DON McLEROY
EX-MEMBER OF THE TEXAS BOARD OF EDUCATION

Why is McLeroy even on this list? After all, he's a non-factor. He got his ass beat in a primary this year in a conservative district where the people were just tired of his antics and his know-nothingism. Well, because he's a crank who's done unbelievable damage while on the powerful Texas Board of Education for the past 11 years. (The TBE has a huge market for schoolbooks, so big that what IT approves is usuallly what's offered to the rest of the country.)

McLeroy loathed evolution and tried to get it expunged from textbooks, when he wasn't trying the 'equal time' scam to get 'creationism' put in the textbooks alongside evolution.

But he didn't stop there. McLeroy also tried to get some of his 'rustic' opinions on other subjects, codified into textbooks, such as:

1. Asking why kids need to learn 'crazy Chinese words,' in English textbooks during a discussion of Chinese literature. Although he did concede 'chow mein' would be useful, which isn't even a Chinese word

2. Joe McCarthy was basically vindicated by history. (No, he was not.)

3. He evaluates History textbooks by how they cover Christianity,Israel and Ronald Reagan. "He needs to get credit for saving the world from communism and for the good economy over the last twenty years because he lowered taxes. (Which were later raised by Bush The Smarter and Big Bill.)"

He has some other beauts like saying that minorities should be grateful to majorities because they voted for the Civil Rights Acts.

Another Hypocrite v. 21.0 - #363

#363 ANDRE BAUER
LT. GOVERNOR OF SOUTH CAROLINA

Now that GOP Cocksucker #308 (GOV. MARK SANFORD) stands as a monument to GOP Cocksucker intransigence, the feeling among the citizens of South Carolina will just have to put up with him until he has to leave later this year due to term limits.

But no one should feel too sorry for the citizens of South Carolina because now that they are going to see the back of #308, they just might be getting #363 in his place. And outside of the adultery, #363 might be just as much of a 'gem' as #308 was.

Instead of having to put up with Sanford the Sanctimonious at the next meeting of the National Governors' Association. The governors will have to listen to bon mots from THIS fuckin' guy. Like when he compared poor kids who get free lunches to stray animals: "My grandmother was not a highly educated woman, but she told me as a small child to quit feeding stray animals," Bauer said during a town hall meeting. "You know why? Because they breed. You're facilitating the problem if you give an animal or a person an ample food supply. They will reproduce, especially ones that don't... think too much further than that. And so what you've got to do is you've got to curtail that type of behavior. They don't know any better."

Never mind the fact that #363 was a poor kid who benefited from free lunches himself. He's different.

Here Come Da Drunks #26.0 AND Another Hypocrite v. 20.0!

#362 ROY ASHBURN
STATE SENATOR FOR THE CALIFORNIA 18TH.

Type I Drunk (Wrong Place, Wrong Time)
Object hit: Stopped in Time

This one has to be the most fun since GOP Cocksucker #277 (ROBERT SOMMA) the transvestite bankruptcy court judge in Massachusetts who got arrested for DUI after he rammed a pickup with his Mercedes and then had trouble getting his driver's license out of his PURSE before handing it to the investigating officer.

What makes this fun is that Ashburn voted time and time again against gay rights legislation. But on March 3, 2010, Ashburn got yanked over by a California Highway Patrol cop on suspicion of drunken driving. The suspicions were correct, Ashburn was confronted with The Breathalyzer, the bane of GOP Cocksuckers everywhere, and blew a 0.14%, substantially higher than the 0.08% limit in the state of California.

But that wasn't the fun part. The fun part was Ashburn's companion, a GUY he'd picked up at Faces, a gay nightclub in the Lavender Hill neighborhood. When asked on KERN radio if he disagreed with the gay rights legislation he voted against, Ashburn didn't answer.

Aieeee! The Muslims! - #361

#361 REP. SUE MYRICK
GOP COCKSUCKER FOR THE NORTH CAROLINA 9TH

No, it wasn't Myrick's fucking of her husband while he was still married to his first wife that has her in trouble, it's her rather rustic views on American Muslims that put a dent in her reelection numbers.

Not that that will mean Myrick will lose. The NC 9th is reliably Republican. The last time she was re-elected in 2008, she won with 63% of the vote. And that's a low for her. No. she gets to be a poster boy for GOP Cocksucker craziness.

Myrick is so scared of Muslims, she wanted the House to investigate the Council on American-Islamic Relations investigated to see if it was planting spies in the Internship program. Along with four other congressman, she authored a letter to the House Sergeant-at-arms asking that he work with the House Judiciary committee, Homeland Security and the House Intelligence committee to determine if CAIR was a security threat.

CAIR immediately fired back, saying that the intership program was extensively used by many groups and said Myrick was just trying to intimidate it. Myrick was also criticized by three other Muslim-American organizations, Muslim-Republican activists, and four congressmen, one of whom was Rep. Keith Ellison of Minnesota, the first Muslim member of Congress.

Mr. Torture Memo - #360

#360 JOHN YOO
FORMER DEPUTY ASSISTANT ATTORNEY GENERAL IN THE DRUNKEN FRAT BOY ADMINISTRATION

John Yoo can't understand what all the fuss is about.

It was Yoo who is the author of two memoranda dated August 2002 and March 14, 2003, that became known as the 'Torture Memos.' Yoo claims it was simply laying out the powers of the president as commander-in-chief during wartime.

But if you READ the March memo, of which Part One can be seen here: http://gulcfac.typepad.com/georgetown_university_law/files/march.14.memo.part1.pdf

and Part II, here: http://gulcfac.typepad.com/georgetown_university_law/files/march14.memo.part2.pdf

you can see that the basic legal reasoning behind these memos is the bullying, "Hey, when we're at war, the Prez can do anything he wants cause he can."

Yoo's memos were used by the Pentagon as justification for 'anything goes,' when it cam to the detainees at Guantanamo and the army's behavior in Iraq. That attitude led directly to the abuses at the Abu Ghraib prison, which horrified the world and enraged all Muslims. Even Yoo's immediate bosses, OLC heads Jack Goldsmith and Dan Levin, were startled by the March memo. Goldsmith even calling the Pentagon to tell it not to rely on it's conclusions and Levin writing them to make sure they were not basing anything on it. Goldsmith went so far as to call the memos "advance pardons." Michael Mukasey, the last of the Drunken Frat Boy Administration's Attorneys General, said during his confirmation hearing that there is NO presidential power to torture.

When Yoo's memoranda were declassified five years later and made public, horrified reactions at the sloppy legal thinking behind them were also made public. Yoo didn't like that one bit, but more on that later. The Torture memos were investigated by the Department of Justice's Office of Professional Responsibility. The OPR ran into a roadblock when it discovered many of Yoo's e-mails during the time the memos were drafted had been deleted.

Though handicapped by this, the OPR came out with a report that said Yoo and Jay Bybee, then head of the Office of Legal Counsel, were guilty of judicial misconduct and that the materials should be turned over the the state bar associations where Yoo and Bybee got their licenses for possible disciplinary action. This was overturned by David Margolis, a top DOJ official.

Assured that DOJ would not take any action against him, Yoo then proceeded to go 'nyah nyah' at the investigation and Leahy's senatorial committee on intelligence in particular. Calling the investigation 'incompetent,' and Leahy's committee "chasing its own tail to feed left-wing conspiracy theories."

The Other Guy Who Got Schooled - #359

#359 SEN. LAMAR ALEXANDER
GOP COCKSUCKER SENATOR FOR TENNESSEE

In addition to GOP Cocksucker #358, President Obama took on this dude at the health care summit when he tried to tell him what was in the health care bill.

Alexander said it would raise the average guy's premium, just as the president was going to pass off the discussion. What he tried to do what slip in a Fox Not the News talking point right as someone else was going to speak. But Obama caught it and swatted it right out of the park.

President Obama said that the bill would actually LOWER premiums, not raise them. Not smelling the danger, Alexander blundered straight forward, saying that the Congressional Budget Office had said so. That was all Obama needed.

He calmly said this was an example of the misinformation out there. The CBO never said that. What it SAID was that with lower premiums, a lot of people could afford better insurance, which would raise what they pay in premiums.

"We're all entitled to our own opinions but not our own facts."

Alexander was left shuffling through his papers at this evidence that Obama had indeed read the bill and got very, VERY quiet when Obama finished, probably because his mouth hurt from having the taste slapped out of it.

Getting Schooled - #358

#358 SEN. JOHN BARASSO
SENATOR FROM WYOMING

Yes, he may be tops on the evolutionary ladder when it comes to the shitkickers in Wyoming, but when Sen. John Barasso, the cattle vet who sometimes doctors regular folks tried to go toe to toe with President Obama on the health care reform bill. He got his head handed to him really fast.

Barasso told the president at the health care roundtable which the Democrats embarrassed them into going to, that health care savings accounts were a much better idea than the health care reform bill. People could pay into them with some of their disposable income and then pay for their health care out of that.

The President took 40 seconds to hit a visibly startled Barasso right between the eyes with the question: Would you still feel that way if you were making $40,000 a year? Cause that's the reality for a lot of folks. In other words, what disposable imcome?

Barasso didn't have a response. In fact, he started when the president asked the question because he knew he'd just been schooled. He tried saving himself later by saying health savings accounts work fine for members of congress. Obama told him that was because members of congress are in the country's highest income brackets and can afford HSAs. The common people aren't.

They scared Rove so badly by brandishing handcuffs and calling him a 'war criminal' that he ran away from his OWN book signing. What makes it ironic is that the title of the book is 'Courage and Conviction.'

The Code Pink protestors keep popping up. They appeared at his book signing in Las Vegas and plan to appear at one he has scheduled for Minneapolis on Thursday. He snarled at Fox and Friends hosts to not give them any more publicity.

#357 DANIEL STOUT
REPLACEMENT FOR GOP COCKSUCKER #356 AS REPRESENTATIVE FOR PAULDING COUNTY,GEORGIA

I had said that the fall of GOP Cocksucker #356 (GLEN RICHARDSON) was a great deal of fun. It was fun watching a high-handed bully with a hair-trigger temper pretending to be a staunch fiscal and family values conservative first lose his wife and then get thrown out of the Georgia House. The reasons? Because he fucked a lobbyist for an energy company and then later backed a boondoggle from HER company that would have cost the taxpayers $300 million.

But the real fun was who the voters replaced #356 with. They went out and picked a "Christian conservative" who busted up his first marriage by getting frisky with his mother-in-law while his first wife was pregnant. LOL. Some people never learn.

The Climax of the Waco Standoff, 17 Years Later

April 19, 1993
At 5:59 a.m., SSRA Sage called into the compound and told the person answering the telephone that it was very important that he speak with Schneider or Koresh. Another individual came to the telephone and Sage informed him that gas was about to be introduced; that it was not an assault; that no FBI agents would enter the compound; and that no one should fire weapons. The individual hung up the phone. Two CEVs, or Combat Engineering Vehicles, approached the compound to begin methodically injecting tear gas through spray nozzles attached to their booms.

(The Myth: Those Tanks had flamethrowers mounted on them. They were using them to set the place on fire!)

[The Truth: This myth comes from a film produced by arch-Waco Wacko Linda Thompson. Thompson claimed to be the ‘Adjutant General of all the Militias’ in the 90s. She called at one point for a march on Washington; a call that was roundly ignored.

[Thompson produced a film called ‘Waco: The Big Lie,’ which a lot of Waco Wackos think is the absolute truth as to what went on there 17 years ago. WTBL popped up two years after the Waco Siege. In it, Thompson made the flamethrower claim based on a split-second piece of film footage that showed a piece of flaming wallboard falling on one of the Combat Infantry Vehicles used to inject the tear gas. Reflection off the wallboard made it look like the CEV was pumping fire into the building. Thompson re-ran this clip twice and claimed that the CEV backed up and injected fire into the building more than once. Hundreds of rednecks believed it as the gospel truth.]

At this point, SSRA Sage began reading a message over the loudspeaker system to those inside the compound, advising them to come out immediately and that they were now under arrest.
The plan to insert the gas was initiated at 6:02 a.m. At 6:04 a.m., the Davidians began shooting at, and hitting, the CEVs. Once the Davidians opened fire, the FBI was authorized to insert gas into the entire compound. The FBI began deploying "ferret" rounds (canisters containing gas) through the windows.

(The Myth: The FBI was using artillery to fire 40mm tear gas shells into the church as well as tanks!)

[The Truth: No it wasn’t. The Waco Wackos seem to think if they use the most incendiary language possible, they’ll get people whipped up over the entire case. If you braced these people over the subject of gun control, one of their bitches would be you knew nothing about firearms cause your language wasn’t precise enough. But when it comes to Waco, that concern goes straight out the window.

[First the FBI did NOt use artillery to gas the Davidians. The ferret rounds the Waco Wackos are so incensed over were fired out of hand-held grenade launchers and are not artillery.

[Second, the FBI did not use a single tank at Waco. They used CEVs or Combat Infantry Vehicles. They look like tanks, but CEV’s have no guns. You tell a tanker that he has to go into battle against another tank with a CEV and he will tell you that you are crazy. It would be like siccing a chicken on a weasel.

[Third. Mt. Carmel was not a ‘church.’ It was a compound covering 77 acres that included a dormitory, a watch tower, more than 100 firearms, may of them illegally-modified, fully automatic rifles, along with over 400,000 rounds of ammo. There was so much spent ammunition that the Texas Rangers, which processed the crime scene, had to remove it all with grain scoops. What ‘church’ has that kind of firepower?]

SSRA Sage continued broadcasting his announcement over the loudspeaker system while the armored vehicles continued to insert CS gas at intervals. The intervals occurred during the approximate one hour period that it took to reload the gas canisters in the vehicles. During these intervals Sage urged the people to come out before more gas was inserted. The Davidians continuing firing at the FBI vehicles.

(The Myth: The FBI never checked to see if that tear gas was toxic or it would harm little babies or old people!)

[The Truth: Actually, it did. The tear gas plan was reviewed and reviewed by AG Reno to make sure it was safe. You can find the particulars in the Scruggs Report, Appendix J.

At 6:41 a.m., someone threw the telephone outside the front door of the compound.
[Material redacted as required by statute.) At 9:47 a.m., an individual exited the compound and retrieved the telephone. However, the telephone lines had been cut, and contact was never re-established, despite the efforts of FBI technical personnel.
[Material redacted as required by statute.] At approximately 12:07 p.m., the Davidians started fires at three separate locations within the compound. At approximately the same time, an HRT observer saw a male starting a fire in the front side of the building. By 12:12 p.m., the compound was on fire in several locations.

(The Myth: That’s a lie! The FBI started the fire!)

[The Truth: Surviving Davidians admit they started the fire. Furthermore, several Davidians can be heard on tape talking about spreading fuel for the fire. The Danforth Report, spent $17 million looking at kooky claims just like this one.]

At 12:12 p.m., SSRA Sage broadcasted an urgent message to Koresh not to put the people through this (the fire), and to lead them out to safety.

(The Myth: The FBI blocked possible escape routes for the Davidians and even pinned them down in the burning building so they had a choice of burning to death or shot!)

[The Truth: The FBI punched three escape routes into the building for the Davidians to leave before driving into it multiple time to inject more tear gas.

[The ‘pinned them down with gunfire’ argument has probably been the longest-lived accusation at Waco. When you hear it, you should know the speaker is acting like the loudmouthed uncle at the Thanksgiving table that insists on talking about things of which he or she is ignorant. Subsequent investigation did not find that a single FBI agent fired his gun. None of the spent casings were of the caliber the FBI was using that day. No eyewitnesses reported FBI agents fired their weapons.]

At 12:13 p.m., the FBI requested assistance from the fire department.

(The Myth: The FBI kept the fire engines back on purpose!)

[The Truth: Yep. But before you get all outraged it wasn’t for the reason the Waco Wackos want you to believe. Intercepts from the tiny bugs smuggled into the compound via the milk cartons, showed the Davidians were planning to shoot at the fire fighters.]

At 12:16 p.m., a male left the compound from the second floor roof. At first, he refused assistance from the FBI.
Two minutes later he jumped off the roof and surrendered. Between 12:20 and 12:30, seven additional individuals came out of the compound and were arrested. At approximately 3:10 p.m., the last survivor emerged from the compound. A total of nine Davidians survived the fire.
One woman left the compound, saw the FBI vehicles, then ran back into the blazing compound. An HRT agent risked his life by leaving his armored vehicle, running into the flames, and saving the reluctant woman. She fought the agent the entire time he was rescuing her.
At approximately 12:25 p.m., numerous agents heard what they described as "systematic" gunfire in the compound. The gunfire was described as "systematic," as opposed to rounds "cooking off" from the intense heat of the fire. Several agents believed at the time that the Davidians were either killing themselves or each other.
At 12:34 p.m., the fire trucks arrived; however, because of the danger of gunfire, firefighting efforts did not begin until 12:41 p.m.
While the fire was still burning and ammunition was exploding, another group of HRT agents risked their lives by entering the tunnels in the compound to search for survivors, especially children. Although the agents discovered the tunnels, and a buried school bus connected to the tunnels, to be cool and undamaged by the fire, no survivors were located.
Following the fire, the FBI and Texas Rangers searched the remains of the compound. The search uncovered the remains of most of the Davidians who perished. The search also uncovered over 100 firearms, including .50 caliber weapons and fully automatic assault rifles, and approximately 400,000 rounds of ammunition. In addition, the ATF assembled an arson team consisting of experts from around the country. The arson team concluded that the Davidians had started the fire at three separate places inside the compound, and that the FBI's actions did not cause the fire. The arson team also concluded that the Davidians could have escaped the fire if they had wanted.

There are a bunch of other myths that the Waco Wackos like to claim are true such as:
1.The FBI illegally used the armed forces at Waco
2.The Warrants were defective
3.The FBI never gave Koresh a copy of the warrant
4.The Davidians were never offered legal counsel
5.The government (President Clinton) covered up all their wrongdoing.
6.The FBI altered the FLIR video that originally showed FBI agents shooting at the building.

But all of these have been shown to be utter nonsense.

So why spend a month and a half doing a day-by-day reconstruction of something that happened almost two decades ago? It’s ancient history.

Yeah, it should be, but the fact of the matter is that the Waco Siege has now entered American mythdom. The Militia Movement, dormant ever since the Oklahoma City Bombing of the Murrah Federal Building in 1998 (which was sparked over Waco) and the absolute flop of their warnings about Y2K, is again on the rise. The ‘Hutaree’ sect in Michigan is the latest example. Hutaree was an offshoot of the Michigan Militia. Hutaree planned to murder police officers and then the people who came to their funerals. The Hutaree members had copies of Thompson’s tape and other Waco nonsense in their possession when they were busted.

As thinking beings, it is our responsibility to croak the myths that bozos like Hutaree spread about Waco whenever they get the chance. When we can say more than just “Huh?” it is almost our duty to stand up and say as loudly and forcefully as we can: “Oh, that is bullshit.” It’s either thant or let them bully us into silence.

[UPDATE: The Fat Junkie and one of his Buttboys, Mark Steyn, have been screaming that instead of the right-wing media egging on Timothy McVeigh to violence, it was the actions of the FBI, led by President Clinton and then-AG Reno that led him to do it. Never mind that when he was busted and his place searched, McVeigh had a whole cache of Waco conspiracy materials on hand from the right wing.]

Day 50 of the Waco Standoff

April 18
On the morning of April 18, the Attorney General notified the President that she had
approved a plan to use CS gas at the compound the next day. The President indicated that he concurred with the decision of the Attorney General.

During the afternoon, the United States Attorney's office in Waco obtained arrest
warrants from a U.S. Magistrate Judge foreveryone known to be inside the compound.
The warrants charged some of the individuals with crimes, and others as material witnesses.

The United States Attorney's office had previously obtained search warrants for the
compound on April 13 and April 16. At 1:53 p.m., in preparation for the insertion of
the CS gas into the compound, the armored vehicles began to remove the remaining
vehicles from in front of the compound.

At 2:00 p.m., Koresh called the negotiators, angrily complaining that the cars were
"irreplaceable," and that the people in the compound were going "to get mad." Koresh
threatened that the safety of the women and children were in jeopardy. In particular, Koresh was angered by the removal of his personal automobile, a Chevrolet Camaro. Schneider told the negotiators later that day that he was not as upset as Koresh about the removal of the vehicles; however, there was still no
progress in the negotiations. The FBI warned the Branch Davidians to stay out of the tower during the operation to clear the automobiles. The tower provided the occupants with an ideal sniper post.

Nevertheless, while the armored vehicles were removing the vehicles, adults held up children in the other windows of the compound. In addition, an HRT sniper saw a cardboard sign placed in one of the windows of the compound that read "Flames Await." The sign had flames drawn on it as well. The sniper reported what he had seen to the command post.
[Material redacted as required by statute].

(The Myth: Those warrants were illegal and the FBI tortured those people!)

[The Truth LOL! After they lost on everything else, the Waco Wackos were reduced to screaming that the process was illegal, namely the warrants. This is the one of the same 'technicalities,' that they scream people get off on. The fact of the matter is that the defense attorneys for the surviving Davidians NEVER brought up the legality of the search and arrest warrants in court.

[If they didn't like the way they were being treated by the FBI, all they had to do was leave the compound instead of murdering their kids and then committing suicide.]

Day 49 of the Waco Standoff

April 17, 1993

At 3:50 p.m., Louis Alaniz, the first person to sneak into the compound, departed. Prior to his departure, the court-ordered electronic surveillance intercepted a conversation in which Schneider attempted to talk Alaniz out of leaving.

In the afternoon, the Attorney General approved the FBI's plan and directed that it be put into effect beginning Monday, April 19. The FBI commanders in Waco were notified of the Attorney General's decision at 7:00 p.m. The FBI began preparations for inserting the gas.

(The Myth: The FBI always planned to gas all those poor people!)

[The Truth: No it didn't. Any pressure the FBI felt came from the fact that outsiders were slipping through the perimeter like Alaniz and Amen. NONE of the militia types ever got through the perimeter but the FBI figured it was only a matter of time. They had been incurring the expense of besieging and putting up with headcases like Vernon for 49 days now.]

The GOP Cocksuckers Are Trying To Hang THEIR Dark Prince Around OUR Necks!

The GOP Cocksuckers are trying to blame US for THEIR creature, GOP Cocksucker #47 himself, Jack Abramoff.

They tried doing this a few years back, by screaming that #47 gave money to DEMOCRATS too. That is until some people started pushing back and demanding to know just who those democrats were.

Suddenly, the GOP Cocksuckers got very, very quiet. Why? because they couldn't find a democratic name. #47 gave NO money to Democrats. NOT ONE DIME.

This is SOP for the GOP Cocksuckers. A couple of years ago, they tried saying the Nazi party was 'socialist' because the word 'socialist' was in the title. Nothing is ever THEIR fault. They are NEVER to blame for anything bad that happens. Like the Katrina fuckup or when they lied us into an unnecessary war. Remember when the Drunken Frat Boy was asked what he'd done wrong in his years as president and what he'd do differently if he had a chance? Remember his answer? "I can't think of a single thing." Riiiiiight. Only DEMOCRATS make mistakes. You NEVER do. I'm sure all those weapons of mass destruction you claimed were in Iraq are all carefully hidden in someone's basement in Baghdad.

The Latest on GOP Cocksucker #302

This summary is not available. Please click here to view the post.

The Latest on GOP Cocksucker #295

Yes, GOP Cocksuckers #307 (SEN. JOHN ENSIGN) and #308 (GOV. MARK SANFORD) may have been hogging the limelight. But just because #307 is getting attention for perhaps breaking campaign finance laws and #308 is in the news for flying down to fuck his Argentine mistress on the taxpayers' dime, that doesn't mean the other GOP Cocksuckers can't have their share of infamy.

Take GOP Cocksucker #295 (PORTER GOSS). The former congressman and director of the CIA chuckled when it was revealed Jose Rodriguez, then the head of the CIA's clandestine service, had destroyed classified videotapes of the enhanced interrogation techniques used on Abu Zubaydah and al-Nashiri. Rodriguez justified his act by saying any heat over the destruction of the videotapes would pale in comparison to the heat generated if anyone saw them. #295, chuckling, said he would take the heat. GOP Cocksucker #310 (HARRIET MYERS,) the White House counsel who was briefly tapped for the Supreme Court, became furious when she found out.

Originally, the excuse was that these kinds of materials are routinely destroyed all the time. Rodriguez' e-mail correspondence with GOP Cocksucker #273 (KYLE 'DUSTY' FOGGO) shows that they were not. They were destroyed so no one would find out what they were doing. #273 is now serving a jail sentence for being bribed by GOP Cocksucker #1 (BRENT WILKES) in the case of GOP Cocksucker #72 (RANDY CUNNINGHAM,) a former congressman who is now serving the longest sentence ever meted out to a U.S. congressman for bribery. (Eight years.)

Day 48 of The Waco Standoff

April 16, 1993
There were eight conversations with four individuals for a total of 3.35 hours on April 16. The only conversation of relevance was Koresh's telling the negotiators that he had just completed the manuscript on the First Seal.
Meanwhile, in Washington, D.C. the Attorney General and the Director of the FBI met with other officials to consider the tear gas plan. The Attorney General directed the preparation of a statement describing the situation inside the compound, the progress of negotiations, and the merits of the proposed plan to insert CS gas. She directed that supporting documentation be provided for all factual assertions and that the statement be delivered to her the following day.

(The Myth: They are plotting to GAS all those poor people!)

[The Truth: Of course they were. They’ve been trying to talk them out for 48 days now and everytime they try, Vernon wants to preach at them. His latest condition of coming out is that he is going to write a manuscript ‘explaning’ the Seven Seals in the book of Revelation. What the Waco Wackos don’t TELL you is that the gas is tear gas and was designed to make them leave the compound. The crybaby Waco Wackos think the FBI should have just gone away and left the Davidians alone to shoot any police they wanted.]

The Fat Junkie Was Crying Today That the Tea Partiers Were Being 'Caricatured' As a Bunch of Old White Racists

Meaning they got described as what they are and they're whining about it.

Seriously, you go to any of their rallies and you never SAW so many Lil'Rascals™ outside of a Wal-mart in your life. And these guys are so blindingly white, the entire thing looks like a country club Mexicans can only serve drinks in.

Day 47 of the Waco Standoff

April 15, 1993
At 7:30 a.m., FBI Air Operations reported that the water storage tank in the rear of the compound appeared to be full. This information was immediately made part of the report to the Attorney General. The report concluded that the compound had a sufficient water supply to last a significant period of time.
[Material redacted as required by statute.] At 5:15 p.m., the FBI activated a "flash bang" device when a male exited the compound unannounced. He returned inside for a few moments, then came back outside. The FBI activated another "flash bang." Observers from inside the compound watched through every available window as this occurred.
No further relevant activity occurred on April 15.

(The Myth: See? The FBI kept setting off explosions whenever the Davidians tried to leave!)

[The Truth: No doubt the Waco Wackos think you should be able to shoot and kill some of the cops that come to arrest you and then walk around like nothing happened.

[The FBI had TOLD the Davidians that no one would be walking outside the compound without their permission. They didn’t get permission, so they got ‘flash-banged.’ Why whine about it?]

Day 46 of the Waco Standoff

April 14, 1993
From 10:21 a.m. to 11:32 a.m., DeGuerin and Zimmerman spoke over the telephone to Koresh and Schneider. The attorneys advised the FBI at the end of this conversation that Koresh had established a new precondition for his coming out. Koresh would only come out after he finished writing a manuscript which explained the Seven Seals.
In the afternoon, there was a meeting in FBI Director Sessions' office to brief the Attorney General on the military and medical perspectives of the proposed plan to insert CS gas into the compound. Two military experts provided their assessments of the plan, while a medical doctor summarized the results of studies of the effects of CS gas, particularly on children, pregnant women, and the elderly.(8)
Pursuant to an inquiry from the Attorney General, the FBI began to gather information about the compound's water supply. The Attorney General wanted to know how long the Davidians could hold out if the status quo continued.
There were ongoing conversations with individuals in the compound throughout the day and evening, but no progress was made.

(The Myth: Here’s more evidence that they were planning to gas the Davidians and their kids all along!

[The Truth: This is the 46th day of the siege. The FBI hadnow spent more than a month trying to talk the Davidians out of their compound but everytime they tried, Vernon would preach at them. The FBI didn’t want to hear a rock star wannabee’s ravings that he was Jesus Christ. They wanted his murdering ass out face-down on the ground. NOW.]

Day 45 of the Waco Standoff

April 13,1993
The negotiators began a conversation with Greg Somers at 12:12 a.m. discussing the possibility of his coming out. At 12:29 a.m., Koresh unexpectedly came on the line and began a rambling, disjointed religious discourse, Each time the negotiators would attempt to steer the conversation to substantive matters, Koresh would simply keep preaching what the negotiators called "Bible babble." Koresh continued virtually non-stop until 5:49 a.m. The only matter discussed of any substance was his oft-repeated position that God said to wait, and that he was not coming out until God told him.
At 10:10 a.m., DeGuerin attempted to contact Koresh through the FBI; however, Koresh would not speak to him since it was the Sabbath. Schneider told DeGuerin to call back at 8:30 p.m.
At 8:30 p.m., DeGuerin called back as instructed; however, Koresh still refused to speak to him.

(The Myth: At about noon [19 April 1993] FBI agents on foot entered the Church, and fired shots which struck plaintiffs many of whom were dead, or unconscious from gas inhalation.)

[The Truth: That came from a purported lawsuit against the FBI. Trouble is, for the Waco Wackos, anyway, none of it is true.

[Page 21 of the Danforth Report:
"The evidence indicates that the Davidians who died from gunfire either committed suicide or were shot by other Davidians. One former Davidian, Kiri Jewell, testified before
Congress that Koresh had taught her, when she was 10 years old, how to use a gun to kill herself. Moreover, Dana Okimoto, a former Davidian, reported to the government on March 3, 1993, that Koresh had instructed his followers that, if he died before they did, the women should kill
themselves or receive assistance from the men, who were to go on a shooting spree before they died. Title III intercepts indicate that on March 16, 1993, a Davidian, possibly Koresh, discussed committing suicide by shooting himself. These statements further support the conclusion that the Davidians shot themselves and did not die as the result of government gunfire."]

Why Do The GOP Cocksuckers Think Government Just Wastes Your Money?

Because since THEY are busy doing it, they figure the rest of us must be wasting it just like THEM.

Take the Florida GOP. Man, it doesn't get any better than THESE guys. Remember Scrooge McDuck rolling around in all the cash in his money bin? Maybe you're too old or too young to remember but it looked like this: https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiUiz0GG8PaqVXvN3QegOfsATccKcCzVx8TuEKLMG_Xe6ugw2AQaviG5dgaYNqCNv6FLY7FUk6fG3jCusxjlQy-dIXbZRlf0i9zF0s8nY4mRiVirKQ11rLY_2wbj1i6ySe0hyjoaRO5uMkIm9o/?imgmax=800

Just like the GOP Cocksuckers do when they get their sweaty little hands on a party credit card. You'd be amazed at how easy it is to flummox these rednecks out of their cash. Then again, maybe not.

The latest spending problem for the Florida GOP is Melanie Phister, who served as finance director for state House campaigns for 2½ years starting in mid 2006. in that time, Phister charged almost $1.3 MILLION on the party credit card for stuff like $40,000 at a London hotel, $15,000 for another stay at a swanky Miami hotel, thousands on jewelry and sporting goods and the best part, almost twenty grand on plane tickets for the former Florida House Speaker, Ray Sansom. Why is this 'best of all'? Because Sansom is already being investigated for HIS OWN SPENDING PROBLEMS of charging 175 Large over two years on the party credit card for things like $11,475 at Best Buy and $839 at Starbucks. (Two years? Sansom drank $839 worth of coffee in two years? Damn, that is some serious caffeine abuse.)

Phister is not the only one, just the latest. Take a look at what's turned up in the last couple of months:

- On March 31, 2010 TPM Muckraker passed along the news that former FL GOP chair Jim Greer is under criminal investigation for allegedly awarding himself a lucrative party fundraising contract.

- On April 1, 2010, The Miami Herald reported top party officials offered Greer a fat severance package that included $124,000 in consulting fees for another year of work.

- Also on April 1, 2010, The Herald reported Greer's lawyer said "associates" of the incoming state Senate president and speaker of the House offered Greer $200,000 in "hush money" to keep quiet about the severance package. The GOP lawyers said that was a load of crap.

- After Greer publicly cut up his American Express card at a state party meeting with a pair of scissors in August of 2009, claiming "No more American Express cards issued to leadership under this chairmanship," $100 flower arrangements appeared on the card of Executive Director Delmar Johnson for Greer's wife and Gov. Charlie Crist's, as well as $1,800 for "in-flight catering services."

- Then Marco Rubio, Crist' opponent in the race to fill one of Florida's Senate seats, charges lotsa personal expenses on the AmEx card the GOP issued to HIM when he was Florida Speaker of the House. Those expenses included about $4,000 to repair his damaged family minivan and rent a car for several weeks, plus a $134 haircut. (Who charges $134 to cut somebody's hair? And they gave John Edwards a bad time for HIS $200 haircut.)

- Then Richard Corcoran, Rubio's chief of staff, uses a party credit card to buy "$1,200 for handcrafted chairs for top Republican officials and $6,773 at a Georgia resort for a Rubio family reunion." (Twelve hundred bucks for chairs? How fucking many of them WERE there?)

Yes, it just goes to show you, if Republicans scream about something being a real problem in this country, you can just bet THEY are the ones doing it. Look at all the pedophiles in the Republican party. Look at all the self-hating homosexuals in the Republican party. Now look at all the spendthrifts in the Republican party. Since they regularly con us into believing them to be regular guys, they figure WE have the same problems THEY do.

With Thanks to The Miami Herald, The St. Petersburg Times and TPM Muckraker.

Day 44 of the Waco Standoff

April 12
At 5:00 a.m., an individual was arrested at one of the roadblocks while trying to get into the compound.
During the afternoon, Attorney General Reno, Acting Associate Attorney General Webster Hubbell, FBI Director Sessions, and other high ranking officials within the Department of Justice and FBI met. At this meeting, the Attorney General was briefed on the FBI's proposed plan to insert CS gas into the compound.
There were several conversations with Schneider during the day and evening; however, nothing of substance was discussed, and no progress was made.

(The Myth: Here’s the FBI and that bitch Reno planning to gas everyone just like they planned all along!)

[The Truth: This was only the second time the FBI had talked about using tear gas on the Davidians and the first time AG Reno had discussed it. The Davidians had been hiding behind the kids in their compound for 44 days and everytime the FBI tried talking to them about more people coming out, they’d get an earful of Bible Babble when Vernon wasn’t lying to them. He was still trying to convince them that he was Jesus Christ. Vernon's backers scream about the federal government wasting money but the spectacle of a Jesus Wannabee shooting the cops and wasting their tax money didn't seem to resonate with them. Another week of bullshit from Vernon to go.]

Days 42-43 of the Waco Standoff

[Ah, spring. The months of being trapped indoors are over and you start spending your weekends outdoors. This would explain why I didn’t post anything on the GOP C*cksuckers this weekend. To be blunt, I was busy. But never fear, here are the weekend entries from the Scruggs Report 17 years ago at Waco, Texas.]

April 10, 1993
Telephone contact between the negotiators and the compound was hampered all morning by technical problems. A clear line was finally established at 1:53 p.m.
In a conversation beginning at 1:53 p.m. and lasting until 2:56 p.m., Schneider informed the negotiators that he had a second letter from Koresh to the FBI.
Beginning at approximately 2:30 p.m., members of the HRT, covered by the armored vehicles, began to install concertina wire around the compound. The negotiators explained to Schneider that the purpose of the wire was to limit entry into the compound as well as to control exit from the compound for safety and security reasons. Although the installation was started, it was never finished because of the extreme danger posed by the necessity of agents having to work in the open, directly in the line of fire of the weapons in the compound.
Schneider dropped Koresh's second letter outside the compound at 3:30 p.m. The letter was analyzed by the experts, who determined that it contained only Biblical passages and teachings with no clear significance to the situation at hand. In any case, microphones inside the compound had recorded Schneider, not Koresh, dictating the letter at approximately 8:00 p.m. on April 9. Koresh's role, if any, in preparing the second letter is unknown. Schneider also delivered a third letter, that was identical to the first letter sent out on April 9.
Contacts continued with Schneider intermittently during the evening, but no progress was made.

April 11, 1993
During the early morning hours, the lights remained on while the noise and music continued over the loudspeakers.
At 6:55 a.m., the FBI activated a "flash bang" device when a person left the courtyard area.
At 10:00 a.m., Schneider indicated to negotiators that three additional people might be interested in coming out. He provided no names or other details.
At 7:38 p.m., the negotiators called Schneider to check on the status of the three people supposedly coming out. Schneider said that they would not be coming out that night.
At 11:12 p.m., Schneider called the negotiators and informed them that the three individuals had changed their minds and were not coming out at all.

(The Myths: Myth One – “That's the lie put forward by the government cover-up [ The the Davidians murdered their kids and then committed suicide.] Only an insipidly stupid, government loving, fucktard would believe it.”

(Myth Two - “The FBI kept the fire trucks away from the church ON PURPOSE so it would burn to the ground,”)

[The Truth: The Goofy Bastards with Guns and Bibles are incredibly pigheaded as well as paranoid. Pigheadedness is a sure sign you are dealing with one. See, none of the gunshot wounds that killed the kids and their parents in the compound match the rifles carried by the FBI. http://www.public-action.com/SkyWriter/WacoMuseum/death/map/d_list00.html If you look at the autopsy report, you will see that they DO match the weapons carried by the Davidians,

[As for keeping the fire trucks away from Mt Carmel, this is a claim regularly uttered by the Goofy Bastards. The fact of the matter is that the FBI kept the fire trucks away from Mt. Carmel simply because the Davidians were overheard on tiny bugs concealed in the milk cartons sent in for the little kids that they planned to do just that:

[From Page 18 of the Danforth Report:

["The Office of Special Counsel also reviewed the decision of the FBI to delay allowing firefighting equipment to arrive at the scene. The Office of Special Counsel has concluded that the Davidians were shooting at outsiders, which would have endangered the lives of any firefighters who approached. In fact, a Title III intercept from April 17, 1993, records Davidians indicating that they intended to prevent firefighters from approaching the complex:
"You're definitely right . . . I think all the time he knows it . . . nobody comes in here . . .;" "Catch fire and they couldn't bring the fire trucks and they couldn't even get near us;"]

The GOP Cocksuckers Don't Even Report Their Own Polls!

Yeah, it's true. Fox Not the News would have you believe that voters are black with fury and ready to throw President Obama and the democratic congress to the wolves. Yet when they get the results of their OWN poll back, they don't report a lot of it. For instance:

1. Fox respondents approve of President Obama's handling of terrorism 50%-37%. Never appeared on the air.

2. President Obama has a 50% approval rating compared with a 40% approval rating for the GOP. Never mentioned on the air. Why? Probably because it conflicts with their claim that his approval ratings are falling like a rock.

3. The GOP Cocksuckers regularly slam Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi. Members of Congress always have low nationwide approval ratings and Pelosi is no exception. Her approval rating is 29% among respondents to the poll. The highest ranking Republican, Minority Leader John Boehner, has an approval rating of 12%. This means Pelosi beat Boner's brains out by a margin bigger than he even polled. LOL! Fox Not the News didn't report THAT, either. I wonder how come?

4. The Tea Parties, which Fox Not the News screams are an example of the rage of Independents, have an approval rating among them of 35%, while 62% of REPUBLICANS think they are just jim-dandy. Again, not mentioned on the channel.

5. 40% of Independent respondents in the poll, more than any other response, said they were SATISFIED with the Obama administration. The election tactics has been to nail down you own base and then try and pick up as many Independents as you can. The President already has almost HALF of them. LOL This was not mentioned on Fox Not the News

6. And finally, when asked, Independents are split on which party best represents them. 24% say it's the Democrats while 25% say it's the Tea Partiers. When it comes to the GOP. Only 10% say that party shares their values. LOL! Ten percent? Again, this was not reported.

With thanks to the Fox News Poll and the blogger MSNY.

The Latest on GOP Cocksucker #331

People give politicians illegal donations all the time. Just last election GOP candidate and walking mummy, Gramps McCain, sent back $50,000 after it was found to be linked to foreign donors, who can't legally contribute to American political campaigns--at least couldn't then; to top it all off, they can't be reimbursed for the expenditure.

But when Sen. David Vitter of Louisiana got $4,800 from Jeffrey Ogbe, who was then reimbursed by a dry-cleaning business hoping to get favorable treatment from Vitter, he didn't send it back.

The Latest Example of Sore Loserdom, Part II

The Washington Post reports that threats against members of Congress have tripled in recent months, in connection with the health care debate. "The incidents ranged from very vulgar to serious threats, including death threats," said Senate Sergeant-at-Arms Terrance W. Gainer, who had information about threats involving both chambers. "The ability to carry them out is another question and part of an investigation to determine what, if any, appropriate steps to take."

You lost the '06 election.
You lost the '08 election.
You lost on the economic stimulus bill.
You lost on the Sotomayor nomination.
You lost on health care reform.
And now you'll be losing on financial reform.

If you wanna run on repealing health care reform....lol....you go right ahead. I DARE you.

The SECOND Supreme Court Appointment

Justice John Paul Stevens, a Ford appointee to the Supreme Court, will be retiring at the Court's summer recess. This means that President Obama will get his second Supreme Court appointment. Here is the GOP Cocksuckers' reaction:

http://www.goozlepipe.com/images/zombies/scream.png

Justice Ginsburg, a Clinton appointee, has been rumored for years to have health problems. She'll probably retire next year, giving President Obama THREE appointments. The Sotomayor appointment was sort of a bonus.

So with the Stevens replacement, what do we have?

ALL of the Nixon appointees are dead.
ALL of the Ford appointees will be gone.
HALF of the Reagan appointees are gone.
HALF of the BushTheSmarter appointees are gone.

And the best part? There is NOTHING the GOP can do about it except try and hold it up.

Day 41 of the Waco Standoff

April 9, 1993
After several unsuccessful attempts to call the compound, and several occasions when the connection was lost because of technical problems, the negotiators spoke to Schneider at 11:28 a.m. Schneider repeated that Koresh would not come out until told to do so by God. Schneider offered no information as to a possible timetable. This call lasted until 12:35 p.m.
At 3:35 p.m., Schneider called the negotiators, then left the compound to drop off a letter from Koresh to the FBI. According to Schneider, Koresh dictated the letter to Judy Schneider. Schneider directed the negotiators' attention to the last page of the letter stating that it was "very important." The entire letter appears in the appendix to this report. The last page is as follows:

“Learn from David My seals or, as you have said, bear the consequences. I forewarn you the Lake Waco area of Old Mount Carmel will be terribly shaken. The waters of the lake will be emptied through the broken damn. [sic] The heavens are calling you to judgment.
Please consider these tokens of great concern.
Yahweh Koresh”

At the FBI's request, two experts analyzed the letter. The experts noted that Koresh was possibly a functioning, paranoidtype psychotic and that he had no intention of surrendering.(6) (Koresh sent out four additional letters -- two on April 10, one on April 11, and the last on April 14. The experts analyzed those letters and concluded that Koresh had no intention of leaving voluntarily).
At 7:03 p.m., Schneider exited the compound without any prior notice to negotiators and walked toward one of the armored vehicles. The agents released a "flash bang" near him, and he returned to the compound.
At 7:30 p.m., Schneider spoke with the negotiators. He was extremely angry about the "flash bang." Schneider screamed at the negotiators and said that he would come out anytime he wanted.
Also, at 7:30 p.m., another male exited the compound into the courtyard and was "flash banged."
The negotiators made numerous attempts to call into the compound between 8:00 p.m. and midnight, but the telephone was off the hook.
On this date, the FBI began to finish plans for inserting nonlethal Orthochlorobenzalmalononitrile (CS) tear gas into the compound. Discussions began at FBI Headquarters and with the Attorney General to determine if the plan would be approved and, if so, to decide when it would occur.

(The Myth: See? Just some more evidence that the FBI wouldn’t let anyone out of the church!)

[The Truth: Schneider was FURIOUS that he couldn’t walk around like he’d never shot any cops. There is absolutely NO ‘evidence’ that the FBI shot any of the Davidians, started the fire or pinned the Davidians down inside so they would burn to death.]

Day 40 of the Waco Standoff

April 8, 1993
The negotiators attempted several times to call into the compound between midnight and 10:00 a.m. No one answered.
At 12:02 p.m., the negotiators established contact with Schneider, who confirmed that everyone would eventually come out. Schneider also predicted an unspecified chain of events which would surprise everyone. He would not be more specific.
Between 4:00 p.m. and midnight, the negotiators called the compound approximately 6 times with no answers

(The Myth: The FBI wouldn’t talk to the Davidians! That was the plan all along! They wanted to isolate them, torture then then burn then to death!)

[The Truth: LOL! That must be why the FBI tried to contact them more than six times just on THIS day but neither Vernon nor Schineider would pick up the phone.]

Wyatt Cenac On the Daily Show Crystallized A Lot of Americans' Feelings About the GOP Cocksuckers Bitching About Health Care Reform:

This summary is not available. Please click here to view the post.

The Latest Example of Sore Loserdom

Ever since the GOP Cocksuckers lost their battle to defeat health care reform as their insurance masters wished, their minions, whom they were busily lying to in an effort to get their support, have been screaming with helpless fury.

The latest one is Gregory Giusti, a 48 year old man from San Francisco, who made lots and lots of phone calls to Speaker Pelosi's office, screaming that she better not support the health care reform bill that was recently enacted.

This is just the LATEST one. Yesterday Charles Allen Wilson, 67, of Washington state was charged with threatening to kill Sen. Patty Murray over her vote for the same bill.

But that's not all. Here's what ELSE these crybabies have been doing since they lost:

1. Rep. Steve Driehaus (D-OH), braced Minority Leader John Boehner over an interview in which Boehner said Driehaus would be a "dead man" if he voted for the bill. Boehner stammered a lot. "I think it's really important for folks around here, especially leader Boehner, to understand that his words have consequences," Driehaus said.

2. Rep. Louise Slaughter (D-NY), released a statement pointing the finger at the GOP leadership after someone smashed the windows in her office: "It's more disturbing to me that Republican leadership has not condemned these attacks and instead appears to be fanning the flames with coded rhetoric." Slaughter also said she got a voice mail "referencing snipers."

3. Sarah Palin posted on Facebook a map of her own -- showing cross-hair graphics over the districts of vulnerable Democrats who backed the health reform legislation. Earlier she tweeted "Commonsense Conservatives & lovers of America: 'Don't Retreat, Instead - RELOAD!' Pls see my Facebook page." Later, Palin whined the Press got it all wrong and that 'reload' or putting crosshairs on her website didn't mean she was advocating violence.

4. Rep. Chris Van Hollen (D-MD), chair of the DCCC, called for "some adult supervision within the Republican party" in an interview on MSNBC Wednesday. "The Republican leadership, instead of saying to its supporters around the country, 'calm down' ... they are pouring more and more gasoline on flames. And that is irresponsible," he said.

The GOP cocksuckers on talk radio, like #70 (RUSH LIMBAUGH) were furious that they were being held accountable for what they said.

Day 39 of the Waco Standoff

April 7, 1993
There was no activity until 10:00 a.m. when an individual exited the compound and walked into the courtyard. The FBI activated two "flash bangs" (a "flash bang" is a stunning device emitting bright light, sound and smoke to divert the activity and attention of the subject) into the courtyard, causing the person to go back inside.
At 10:59 a.m., Schneider called about the "flash bang" incident, claiming that no one had been outside. Koresh came on the line and said that "Passover" would be observed for seven more days. When asked if he was going to come out then, Koresh began a long, rambling religious statement, and refused to confirm his surrender.
At 8:00 p.m., Schneider called-the negotiators. He refused to give even an estimated date for the Davidians' exit from the compound

(The Myth: There is all kinds of evidence showing that the FBI shot those people! All kinds!)

[The Truth: No there isn’t. Not a single bullet in the bodies of the Davidians matches the caliber of the guns the FBI used that day at Waco, but they DID match the caliber of the guns the Davidians were packing.]

The Census

The GOP Cocksuckers are an incredible bunch of crybabies.

They have a vested interest in government not working, so rather than admit they don't know what they are talking about, when they get elected they fuck everything up as much as possible so they can make their case that government can't do anything right.

After the economy and the military, now the latest target of these Chicken Littles is the U.S. Census.

You read that right. The pussies on the far right, not content with screaming that the economic stimulus bill is not working or that health care reform is 'socialism' and wasn't necessary, or that President Obama had dijon mustard on his burger at Five Brothers, now they are crying that answering the Census leads to tyranny.

Seriously. These are the same crybabies who brandished signs screaming idiotic demands for the federal government to "keep it's hands off my Medicare."

You wouldn't believe some of the paranoia these whiners are yelling. The Fat Junkie for example, he got his ass handed to him on health care reform and now he is hollering that federal workers are deliberately skipping Republican neighborhoods.
This should make him happy. After all, the Fat Junkie has been SCREAMING for people to not fill in their census form.

Then there is Rep. Michele Bachmann of the Minnesota 6th (No number yet). Bachmann was howling that during World War II, the federal government turned over census data to the states so it could round up Japanese-Americans. (Which is never did.) She also said she wouldn't be filling out the 10 questions on the census form.

Bachmann's quickly backtracked on those remarks, as she's had it pointed out to her that if they aren't counted, Minnesota could very well lose representation. Since Bachmann's district is the only one in Minnesota with a peculiar shape, it would be logical for the boundaries of her district to be a logical place for redistricting to begin. People didn't follow Bachmann's lead either, as the national return rate of census forms is 50%. In her district, it's 65%.

Then there is Rep. Ron Paul of the Texas 14th, (no number yet) who has said the government has used census data in the past to catch tax evaders. (No it hasn't.) But the funniest remark by Paul, the darling of the libertarians, is "why is the government so intent on this information in the first place?"

Probably because the U. S. Constitution calls for a census in Article I, Section 2. That might have sonething to do with it. Also, the census is the basis for representative democracy. Nevertheless, Paul was the ONLY member of congress to vote against a resolution praising the Census.

But it's not just personages who are upset over the Census. World Nut Daily, which is practically a bible for some right-wing head cases, says the government could use the data to round up and deport illegal immigrants. (Which is a staple of the far-right.)

CNSnews.com, another goofball website pretending to be news, says the census is pushing the country to accept gay marriage. (It does?)

I don't know if anyone else is as tired of these whiners as I am but I can't be alone.

Now That He's Lost...

Guys like GOP Cocksucker #311 (SEN. TOM COBURN) are trying to put the toothpaste back into the tube and claim that health care reform won't REALLY be that bad.

At a town hall meeting last week in Oklahoma City. Coburn startled those assembled when he told them not to "believe everything they see on FOX." When they started to boo Speaker Pelosi, #311 told them that she was a nice person who didn't deserve this kind of treatment.

Why was Coburn doing this? Three reasons. One, he lost on the health care vote; two opposing the health care vote has stirred up some ugly feelings over on the fringe, so ugly that the GOP is being regarded as the party of sour grapes and they are regarded as the sore losers urging on the nuts who throw bricks through the windows of people's offices, spit on lawmakers or threaten to kill them; three, this kind of thing polls badly back home.

You Can't Buy Competence

The latest problem for Michael Steele, the chairman of the RNC http://twitgoo.com/7892 is that more and more RNC types are jumping overboard http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H2XfQo1YguY&feature=related

First they can Allyson Meyers, the director of the 'Young Eagles' program, who authorized a payment of neary $2000 at a lesbian bondage-themed strip club.

Then Sam Fox resigns from a high-level position on the RNC fundraising board who is one of the last links to the traditional RNC fundraising base. In other words, rich white guys.

Then Steele http://twitgoo.com/7892 goes and hires Neil Alpert for the fundraising staff, a guy who seems to think donor money can be used to pay his rent and get into fancy nightclubs.

Then RNC Chief of Staff Ken McKay, Steele's top aide, quits over the bondage club incident.

Then yesterday, Curt Anderson, a veteran GOP operative who served as strategist for Steele's losing campaign for governor of Maryland, quits.

Steele http://twitgoo.com/7892 may be finding out that you can't buy honesty or competence.

The Latest in the RNC Finance Follies

Remember yesterday when I posted how the Republican National Committee wastes your money? The money YOU give them goes for things like strip clubs, food, booze and gasoline, then the RNC tries to cover it up by claiming the money went to 'office expenses.'

Well here's the latest. Michael Steele, the RNC chairman referred to by wealthy RNC donors as "our nigger," hires a fellow by the name of Neil Alpert. Alpert's gotten in trouble before for using the PAC credit card from his last client to help pay his rent and parking expenses. That doesn't seem to cut any ice with Steele, who hires him anyway.

But maybe this will: While Alpert was chairing D.C. Baseball PAC, the group trying to bring major league baseball back to Washington, he didn't just use PAC money yo pay his rent. He ALSO used the PAC credit card to visit Washington's Dream Night Club, which is also known as Club LOVE. If you go to http://www.10best.com/Washington,DC/Nightlife/Dance_Clubs/64197/Love_Washington_DC/ you can find a review of the place, which describes it as 'luxurious.' A far cry from drinking Budweiser and eating pretzels out of a cheap Melamite bowl at the bar of the Dew Drop Inn, which is the 'nightlife' most familiar to the RNC contributors who live in trailers. It costs $60 just to get IN to 'Club LOVE.'

If you bypass the RNC and contribute DIRECTLY to candidates, more often than not you wind up giving them money for their legal defense funds.

Once again, the RNC shows itself as representing a party on the side of the Average Joe.

Day 38 of the Waco Standoff

April 6, 1993
There was no activity on April 6, except that at 8:00 p.m., Schneider called the negotiators to complain about the music and noise being broadcast over the loudspeakers. He said that if it were not turned off in honor of Passover, he might never speak to them again. The FBI continued broadcasting music throughout the night.

(The Myth: The FBI fired incendiaries into that building to burn them alive!)

[The Truth: The FBI did not fire a single incendiary during the Waco Standoff. The FBI did start doing the right thing here, which was basically to tell Schneider “Aw, fuck you.”]

What Does the Transmission of a Bus Look Like?

Well, the best view of one might come from GOP Cocksucker #307 (SEN. JOHN ENSIGN) since the tranny is located UNDERNEATH the bus.

Yes, even REPUBLICANS are turning on #307 like wild rats trapped in a shoebox. And they are enjoying every second of it. At first, the whole thing was just a case of Ensign being low enough to fuck his best friend's wife but then it started to change. Next thing you know, #307 was getting his mom and dad to shell out $96,000 to keep the cuckolded husband quiet. But now that the Justice Department's gotten involved dishing out subpeonas left and right, it might be a case of #307 trying to get around campaign finance laws.

And acting like an asshole to boot. I mean, here's part of an article in the Las Vegas Sun on the subject of #307:

"In interviews with the Las Vegas Sun, more than a dozen friends, associates and Republican allies, some of whom have known Ensign for years, describe him as a politician who has grown narcissistic and reckless -- a detached, self-righteous figure with almost no regard for those who helped send him to Washington or keep him there. "

Ouch.

But some of them are even willing to put their NAMES down. For example, the Sun also claims:

• Steve Wark, a Nevada Republican operative: "It was always, for the most part, about John Ensign. That is fairly unusual -- that lack of involvement and interest in other people's careers, or in party-building."

And then there is:

• Chuck Muth, a former Nevada GOP executive director and prominent figure in the state party, on volunteering at an Ensign fundraiser: "He treated us like hired help."

But there are OTHER Republicans, not so willing to put down their names but just as brutal:

• One Republican insider: "Narcissism would be the best word."

• A GOP operative who saw Ensign -- the son of a wealthy casino magnate -- working as a casino manager: "He was an ass to his employees, barking orders, acting like a peacock."

• Another Nevada Republican on a meeting with Ensign: "Two minutes in, Ensign is looking at his watch. Five minutes in, he's gone. Staff says they'll get back to me. Never did."

• And perhaps most worryingly, a GOP operative: "No one perjures himself for John Ensign."

The Very Latest On GOP Cocksucker #307! And it Doesn't Look Very Good For Him! LOL!

The Justice Department WAS looking at whether or not Sen. John Ensign had violated lobbying rules when he tried to get his former best friend, Doug Hampton, a slot at various businesses after canning him from his campaign.

But NOW, Las Vegas Sun reporter Jon Ralston, who is proving to be a regular millstone around Ensign's neck, suggests that what the Justice Department is REALLY looking into is that $96,000 that Ensign got his mom and dad to 'give' to Hampton as a 'gift.' The Justice Department's Office of Public Integrity is checking to see if that 'gift' was actually an unreported severance payment as an attempt to get around campaign financing laws. If it was, then #307 has not only gotten HIMSELF into legal trouble, but his mom and dad as well. #307 should be used to getting other people in trouble. I mean, remember how GOP Cocksucker #311 (SEN. TOM COBURN) of Oklahoma got in trouble just by making #307 FedEx a letter to Hampton's missus saying he wasn't going to screw her anymore? Yeah. #311 forced #307 to mail the letter, then #307 calls Mrs. Hampton to tell her the letter's coming but he really didn't mean it, he was just trying to get #311 off his back. Then #311 has to answer some embarassing questions about whether or not he's trying to get #307 to pay hush money.

LMAO!

Why is it taking so long? Well, DOJ has learned from when it went up against GOP Cocksucker #97 (EX-SEN. TED STEVENS), screwed up, got a conviction but had it overturned on appeal. It doesn't want to repeat that mistake so it's taking things slowly. Fortunately, #97 couldn't appeal the decision of the voters in 2008, who shitcanned his old ass.

With thanks to Jon Ralston of the Las Vegas Sun and TPM Muckraker.

Just Remember, If You Send Money to the Republicans, Here's What You're Buying:

$1,946.25 went to a lesbian bondage-themed strip club!

Then $982 for booze at Boyden Valley Wineries!

Then $700 for MORE booze and food at a place called Congressional Liquors!

Then $453 went for 'meals' at Henri Bendel, a posh boutique on New York's Fifth Avenue which does not serve food!

And now, the RNC's hired Neil Alpert as a fundraiser who spent between $2,700 and $2,925 of fundraising money from his last client on rent for his own place. That's not all either. The DC Office of Campaign Finance reported Alpert made ATM withdrawals, cash withdrawals, and debit card purchases totaling $1,891.87, $19,500.00 and $10,653.53, respectively, that were not reported.

That's more than 32 grand! What did he spend it on? Food, booze and gasoline.

LMAO!

Days 35-37 in the Waco Standoff.

I was busy this weekend, seeing as how its been spring for the last couple of weeks, so I didn't write much on the Waco Case, but just in case the Waco Wackos think its time to breathe easy, here's what went on in Texas 17 years ago.

April 3
The attorneys wanted to meet with Schneider and Koresh again on April 3. The negotiators called the compound at 9:01 a.m. to make the arrangements; however, they were told by Schneider that it was the Sabbath and that only the Bible or "spiritual things" would be discussed. The attorneys declined this invitation.
The negotiators attempted three telephone calls at 6:00 p.m. No one answered. There were no further contacts that evening.

April 4
At 10:35 a.m., the two attorneys entered the compound and met with Koresh and Schneider. This meeting lasted until 4:09 p.m.
After the meeting, DeGuerin and Zimmerman spoke to the FBI and stated that the meeting had been "very productive." However, they had been unable to determine with any precision exactly when the "Passover" would occur. According to the attorneys, Koresh reiterated that everyone would come out after "Passover." The attorneys also informed the FBI that Jesse Amen would be coming out at approximately 6:00 p.m.
Jesse Amen left the compound at 5:38 p.m.

April 5
There was no relevant activity during the 24 hour period. Those inside the compound were observing Passover

(The Myths: Number One: On the day of the fire, from about 6 a.m. until noon, the FBI fired more than four hundred 40mm artillery shells containing CS powder through the walls and all windows of the Mr. Carmel Center!

Number Two: The FBI shot incendiaries into the building!

Number Three: The FBI tried to block escape routes from the building!)

[The Truths: Number One: The FBI fired 'Ferret' rounds at the building. Not artillery. Ferret rounds are fired out of riot guns.

[Number two: The FBI never fired incendiaries at Waco, which are designed to start fires. They fired three 'pyrotechinics,' not 'incendiaries.' None of them penetrated the building.

[Number Three: The FBI did not try and block 'escape routes.' They tried to block access to a structure they called 'the bunker.']

The Latest on GOP Cocksucker #307

Senator John Ensign's director of Nevada legislative affairs, Brooke Allmon, allegedly told the energy firm BioDiesel that if they wanted the Senator to work with them, they would have to hire Doug Hampton. This kind of thing is a big no-no.

Hampton was Ensign's best friend at the time. But apparently this was not enough to keep Hampton's wife from screwing Ensign.

With regards to TPM Muckraker.

Day 34 of the Waco Standoff

[Some people have written (in a rather petulant and subdued tone, I might add, something like a whipped puppy would sound like if it could talk) why I'm bringing up something that happened 17 years ago.

Good question. The answer is because the Goofy Bastards with Guns and Bibles bring Waco and Ruby Ridge in Idaho up as examples of the 'tyrannical federal government' and make all kinds of idiotic claims about the siege. This mythology of theirs should be shoved right back into their faces because it's dangerous. It should not go unchallenged. Timothy McVeigh swallowed it whole and blew up a federal building in Oklahoma City a year later that contained a day care center because that's where he beleived the FBI agents at Waco came from.

The Militia movement has had a resurgence ever since President Obama was elected last year. Take Hutaree in Michigan for example. These clowns planned to shoot cops and then shoot MORE cops that came to the funerals of the first ones. Now that they have been arrested, the members of Hutaree are whining that they are NOT anti-goverment extremists.

The Goofy Bastards make all kinds of dumb claims. An example was the fury one of the Hutaree members had over an e-mail than said President Obama was going to supply al-Qaeda with homes and $20 million if they would locate here. Problem is, the e-mail is all made up, just like some of the nonsense concerning the Waco affair.

So that's why a day-by-day account of what happened at Waco 17 years ago is appearing here. Militia types are nothing but bullies and bullies should be challenged every single time they DARE to raise their heads.]

April 2, 1993

At 10:21 a.m., the negotiators called the compound to ask Koresh if he and his followers would surrender. Schneider answered the phone and said Koresh was too weak to come to the telephone. According to Schneider, Koresh was "asking God" to tell him when they should come out. The negotiators reminded Schneider in this conversation that his attorney instructed him not to speak to law enforcement. Schneider acknowledged the instructions. He indicated, however, that he wou ld call negotiators when he had additional information.
Between 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., the negotiators spoke to several women in the compound who requested that the FBI send in milk.
At 7:52 p.m. Schneider and Koresh called negotiators and told them that they would not come out until after Passover. They were not specific as to exactly when this would be; they only stated that they followed the Jewish Passover (which was to begin April 6). Koresh told the negotiators concerning the date to "figure it out themselves."
The conversation ended at 8:48 p.m.

(The Myth: Koresh was DYING in that compound and the FBI didn't care!)

[The Truth: If you look at the Scruggs Report for March 3, 1993, you will find THIS paragraph:

"From the beginning of the negotiations with Koresh, the FBI had always expressed concern about his injuries and his state of health. on March 3, the negotiators had several conversations with a nurse in the compound, who reported that Koresh's condition was satisfactory. She confirmed that he had been shot in the lower left abdomen and in the wrist. She reported that his temperature was normal, color good, and that he was taking no medications. The nurse also described Judy Schneider's wounds to her right shoulder and right finger, and Scott Sonobels "slight" wound to his leg. According to the nurse, the condition of both of these individuals was satisfactory"

The nurse also claimed on March 8 that Vernon's wounds were "healing nicely."

Yet Schneider would have you believe that he was too weak to come to the phone.

Day 33 of the Waco Standoff

April 1, 1993
On April 1, Mark Richard returned to Washington, D.C. and reported his findings to the Attorney General. The Attorney General approved a plan wherein a senior prosecutor, Ray Jahn, would be assigned as lead counsel in the Branch Davidian case. AUSA Jahn would report directly to the Acting Assistant Attorney General for the Criminal Division in Washington, D.C. AUSA Jahn was charged not only with the responsibility for prosecution, but also with ensuring better overall cooperation between the numerous agencies involved.
At 9:53 a.m., both DeGuerin and Zimmerman entered the compound to speak to their clients, Koresh and Schneider. At 12:55 p.m., DeGuerin called the FBI command post and asked for additional time. DeGuerin believed that he was making "terrific progress" and wanted to continue talking to Koresh. The FBI granted more time, since it appeared progress was being made. The meeting continued until 6:02 p.m.
DeGuerin and Zimmerman met with SAC Jamar and told him that Koresh and his followers would leave the compound on either April 2 or April 10. The disparity in dates was due to confusion over the dates for observing the "Passover" holiday in the compound. The attorneys also informed Jamar that they had instructed their clients not to speak to law enforcement except to arrange the final surrender of those inside the compound. Jamar, after consultation with the United States Attorney's office, declined to recognize the attorneys' instructions. The FBI continued to maintain contact with Koresh and Schneider, and Koresh and Schneider continued to maintain contact with the FBI.

(The Myth: The AG’s office had to bring in more people to coordinate the cover-up plan to handle things after they would burn the Davidians alive!)

[The Truth: They brought in more people to handle the prosecution of the Davidians when they surrendered. Meanwhile, Vernon lies for the SEVENTH time, this time to his attorneys when he claims that everyone will come out of the compound once Passover is done. However, he won’t tell the FBI when the Davidian version of Passover ends.]
