Another Hypocrite V. 14.0 - #341

Why does the House Minority Leader make this list if he's never been convicted of a crime or even indicted like his predecessor GOP Cocksucker # 54 (EX-REP. TOM DELAY, who is STILL awating trial almost five years later)? Well, remember this list is for GOP Cocksucker hypocrites too and so far we have 13 of 'em.

Boner was up in arms over the fact that the health care debate would not be televised on C-Span like President Obama promised it would be during the campaign....um, I mean Boehner...He was all full of OUTRAGE that the President had gone back on his word to televise the debate. Remember that? Look, here's what Boner screamed....I mean, Boehner...last month:

"C-SPAN's role in fostering government transparency is so significant that on several occasions during the last presidential campaign, then-Sen. Barack Obama (D-IL) pledged that health care reform negotiations would be broadcast on C-SPAN so the
'American people will know what's going on.'"

"Unfortunately, the President, Speaker Pelosi, and Senate Majority Leader Reid now intend to shut out the American people at the most critical hour by skipping a bipartisan conference committee and hammering out a final health care bill in secret."

Yep that's really giving it to 'em all right. But here's Boner yesterday when asked about the health care debate being televised Feb. 25 on C-SPAN:

"I think that's fine, but you know, is this a political event or is this going to be a real conversation?"

So, as TPM Muckraker so pithily puts it: "How Dare Obama Televise The Health Care Debate After I Demanded He Televise The Health Care Debate!"
