Nevada Governor Jim Gibbons is one angry, angry man.
How come? Well, after he ran as a principled man with family values, all those skeletons in his closet started clanking to life for all to see; skeletons such as when he divorced Dawn, his wife of 23 years, her legal documents in the case called him a 'drunk' and 'the most scandal-ridden governor in the history of the state of Nevada.' Or it may have been when Nevada FORCED him to reimburse the state for the cost of texting Kathy Karrasch, the then-wife of a Reno doctor and now his current paramour, 867 times on a state phone over the course of six weeks. (Wow. That works out to more than 144 times a week. I have a friend with an adolescent daughter and even SHE doesn't rack up those kinds of numbers.) Or Gibbons may be pissed off because there is NOTHING he can do about it except snarl at reporters for bringing it to the public's attention.
Like when investigative reporter John Humbert caught #292 at the Reno airport getting off a plane a few moments after Kathy Karrasch did and then denying she was on the plane or had accompanied him to Washington D.C. for a meeting of the National Governor's Association. #292 said his private life was none of Humbert's business, demanding to know "What's it to you?" #292 blamed Humbert for asking all the questions in the first place.
