Negotiators jawbone for 11 hours with various Davidians, including 7 hours and 38 minutes with KORESH. The negotiators remain "calm and conciliatory." A memo written by Pete SMERICK and Mark YOUNG, two FBI psychological profilers, says a strategy of negotiations, coupled with ever increasing tactical presence, could be counter-productive and result in the loss of life.
(Myth: The FBI hates guns and that’s why they wanted to kill the Davidians.)
[The Truth: This one just makes no fucking sense at all. On one hand the Goofy Bastards scream that the FBI pinned down the Davidians so they could burn to death in their compound, then they claim the FBI hates guns. So, by their own fruitcake reasoning the gun-hating FBI pinned down the Davidians with anything but guns. Spitballs maybe.
Well, at least this marks the first day Vernon didn’t lie to them.]
