Senator John Ensign has been trying to bury the fact that he fucked his best friends wife for months now. How come that is?

Well, possibly because he wanted to keep people from asking questions about him giving quid pro quos to companies like Selling Source and Pay Card USA. Ensign reportedly told them the way for them to avoid regulation was to contribute to the National Republican Senatorial Committee, which Ensign was the chairman of at the time.

But now those companies were subpeonaed, and Ensign probably has a big lump in his throat about now.

• Sig Rogich, an influential Nevada Republican political consultant and fundraiser, has received a subpoena from the Senate Ethics Committee.
• Pete Ernaut, a Nevada "public relations guru," has been asked by the committee for information.
• John Lopez, Ensign's former chief of staff, also has been subpoenaed, though it's not clear whether this is by the Ethics committee or the Justice Department.

Ooooooooo. This could be Baaaaad for #307 and could turn a mere fucking of his best friend's wife into something a LOT more serious.

When GOP Cocksucker #342 (SEN. MITCH MCCONELL) the minority leader of the Republican Party was asked if he still supported #308, there was no answer.

At least Allegheny Air, the airline that employed the cuckolded husband and his kid, is not talking about whether it has received a subpeona or not.

Well, it's just a matter of time.
