Man, it just keeps coming.
That's what Gov. Mark Sanford is scared of.
We took $74,000 away from Sanford today, as he tried to put ethics charges that he went down to Buenos Aires for some sexytime with his Argentinian mistress on the taxpayers' dime behind him.
We also took almost $3,000 away from him that will be put into his campaign account to replace what he took out for personal use.
Here's what some of the money we forced Sanford to pay will go to:
"Under the agreement, Sanford also agrees to compensate the Ethics Commission nearly $36,498 for its investigative costs. He also agrees to pay back:
• $18,000 to the state Departments of Commerce for first- and business-class airfare;
• $7,792 to the Division of Aeronautics and $1,003 for personal use of state-owned aircraft."
That should take care of the civil problems, but what REALLY has Sanford scared is that there are still some CRIMINAL charges out there waiting for him. Like all GOP Cocksuckers, Sanford values his own ass more than he does money.
