Congresswoman Crazy - #376

#376 REP. MICHELLE BACHMANN
GOP COCKSUCKER FROM THE MINNESOTA 6TH DISTRICT

There are a lot of crazies on the GOP Cocksuckers, but Bachmann has to be in the top five.

Bachmann is nuttier than the proverbial fruitcake. However, since she comes from a primarily Republican district, the best chance to unseat her is in the primary.

Let's take a peek at some of the goofy shit Bachmann's said:

1. While trying to defeat the economic stimulus bill back in January of '09,
Bachmann claimed it had "$5 billion" in aid for ACORN and said the organization is under federal indictment.

[Neither claim is true. ACORN is not even mentioned in the bill, which passed, by the way.]

2. Back in October of '08, less than a month before the GOP got it's ass kicked AGAIN, Bachmann said on Hardball that then-Senator Obama was very anti-american and so were several members of congress. Asked to name any by host Chris Matthews, Bachmann demurred and said Congress should be investigated by the media in order to find out who the anti-American types are.

[How very McCarthyite of her. And it's been PRESIDENT Obama for almost a year and a half now.]

3. This time Bachmann was enraged at Health Care Reform legislation. She tried calling for an anti-health care reform rally on November 5, 2009.

[She got into trouble for violating House rules when she tried hawking the rally on her House website. Thousands came and were infuriated with helpless rage when they saw Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi walk past them holding the ceremonial gavel that had been used when medicare was created. They whined she waved it at them to taunt them. She didn't but hey, so what if she did?

[Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, a watchdog group, demanded an investigation on November 17, 2009. This is not the ONLY time Bachmann has played fast and loose with the rules. She's misused the congressional frank to send mass mailings outside her district for one.]

4. Democrats made up all that stuff about racial epithets yelled at them and being spat on when they went to vote for health care! None of that happened! Nobody saw anything of the kind!

[Really? Gosh, what's THIS?:

5. Bachmann claimed after the health care reform bill passed she lost her health care insurance.

[No she didn't. Her own staff said what she was REALLY meant was she wasn't sure she'd be able to keep the insurance she has.]

6. Bachman said prior to 2008, 100% of the economy was private, now 51% of the economy is controlled by the government.

[The Bureau of Economic Analysis says that at no time was the economy EVER 100% private and the most the government has ever controlled was in 1944 when government spending amounted to 47.9% of GDP.]

7. Bachmann said the New England Journal of Medicine said 30% of physicians would leave the profession if we passed health care reform.

[The NEJM said no such thing. When you ask where that is, she gets REALLY REALLY quiet. But lets say it did. So what? You wanna take our ball and bat and go home if you don't get your way? ]
