At least Carter was just an embarrassment. Kirkland may be something else.
Billy was just a beer-swilling yahoo who once appeared on Hee Haw! in a 'chain-mail' suit made of disposable beer tabs. Bob, on the other hand, is something else.
His brother, Ron, is running for the Tennessee 8th after current congressman John Tanner announced he was retiring.
Robert is getting in trouble because of money, one of the GOP Cocksuckers' weaknesses along with underaged children.
Robert is taking advantage of a loophole that allows him to skirt campaing finance laws on contributions. As long as he is not affliated with the campaign of his brother, he can spend as much as he wants. Back in mid-April, he had spent $135,000 on his brother's campaign. Normally, he'd be limited to $2,400.
WHNT-TV reported that an attorney in Humboldt, TN, filed an FEC complaint calling Kirkland's ads "clearly coordinated communications."
