Watch 'Em Cave When You Confront 'Em

I can't figure out why the Democrats in Congress are being such weenies when it comes to confroning the GOP. When you confront these guys, they back down. Every time.

Take carnival owner Irvin Good of Pennsylvania. A registered republican, Good ran a Midway game called 'Alien Attack,' and posted a picture of the head alien as black with the belt buckle of the presidential seal and carrying a rolled-up scroll labeled 'health care bill.'

When a carnivalgoer, Kathryn Chapman, complained that it was wrong to send the message to little kids that shooting at the president was okay, Good blew her off, saying that she saw the figure as being President Obama because she WANTED to see it as President Obama. He didn't see it that way. Case closed.

It wasn't closed for Chapman, who took pictures of the target and sent them to the local paper, the Easton Express-Times, which ran them. The picture went on to get posted to the internet as well. Suddenly, Good was getting criticism from all sides, including some of his neighbors. Then the local chapter of the NAACP got involved with the chapter head saying she wasn't buying Good's 'explanation' for one second. When that happened, Good suddenly turned into one whipped little puppy who was not blowing people off anymore. In fact, he was apologizing. He took down 'Alien Attack.'

With thanks to TPM Muckraker and the Easton Express-times.
