Yeah, it sounds in retrospect that this is another GOP cocksucker small fry, and you'd kinda sorta be right. But what is interesting about Martin is that's it's pretty illustrative of how the GOP cocksuckers tend to treat even their allies.

About seven years ago, Martin pled guilty to bank fraud and conspiracy to commit money laundering. Martin was the president of the Blue Ridge Savings and Loan in Asheville, NC and make some fraudulent loans to GOP Cocksucker #99 (CHARLES "Chig" CAGLE), a former district Republican chairman.

Here's where the accounts differ. Martin and Cagle said Rep Charles Taylor of North Carolina knew all about the loans. Instead of saying "what loans?" Taylor has taken the tack of simply refusing to talk about the case. Martin and Cagle went to jail. Taylor's role was never investigated.

Then it all became moot. Taylor went up against Heath Shuler, the former Washington Redskins quarterback. This time, Shuler didn't have to worry about any receivers and defensive backs.

Sure as shit, Shuler's habit of overthrowing people worked. Taylor lost the North Carolina 11th to Shuler, 46% to 54%, a district that had supported him for years.

He said "no mas" in December 2007, which was actually wise, since he'd been named one of the Ten Most Corrupt Members of Congress. If he dared to show his little cracker face again, that case that sent Hayes and Cagle to the Slammer might reappear in his life too. Taylor even lost his home county, despite spending $2.2 million of his own money trying to keep it and became the poster boy for The Thumpin'.
