This was an unusual one. Kontongiannis pled guilty to money laundering in February of last year. Tommy K was hiding bribe money for GOP Cocksucker #72 (RANDY 'DUKE' CUNNINGHAM) from GOP Cocksucker #1 (BRENT WILKES) who was convicted of bribery and sent right to the fuckin slammer for 12 years.
Prosecutors then got some of the transcripts of the case sealed, leading to speculation that Tommy K was working for the CIA. No one really knows for sure.
The Copley Press, an organization which owns one of the newspapers reorting on the case, tried to get some of the transcripts unsealed. They first had success but then the prosecution appealed and got them resealed.
Tommy K's sentencing is yet to be done.
