The First Big Crack in the 'Jack Who?' Case - #50

# 50 ROGER STILLWELL
INTERIOR DEPARTMENT, FORMER DESK OFFICER FOR THE COMMONWEALTH OF THE N0RTHERN MARIANAS

This entry is fairly short, which is odd considering its importance in the scheme of things. Stillwell's plea that he had filed a false financial statement with the government was the first crack that put the probe in the (GOP Cocksucker #47 Jack) Abramoff Affair inside the Interior Department.

It was #47 whom GOP Cocksucker #54 (TOM DeLAY) called "Jack Who?" after earlier claiming that he was one of his best friends. His confession January 3, 2007 to three felony counts and his subsequent willingness to squeal on everyone he could think of led to the arrest and conviction of GOP Cocksuckers #49, #51, #271 and nine other lobbyists and aides.

Stillwell had accepted four tickets to a Redskins football game and two tickets to a Simon and Garfunkle concert in Washington, all which seem harmless enough but he did not report them on his financial statement as he was supposed to.

Stillwell had originally made a deal with prosecutors for six months of probation but was astonished when Judge David Kay threw that arrangement out the window and gave him two years of probation along with a $1,000 fine instead. Kay also doomed any chance that the now-71-year-old Stillwell would be able to retire with a modicum of respect for his government service by tongue-lashing him from the bench that "there was no free lunch, especially from a lobbyist."
